Journal Entry
This place is still a little intimidating, but nowhere near as scary I was expecting it to be. The headmaster frightens me, but Kitty thinks the world of him and tells me what a great man he actually is. I don't think she is scared of anything, though. She says that he is like her father, and it is hard for me to imagine that. But, she also says that I will never have to worry about someone treating me badly here because none of the staff will accept that -- Logan least of all.
I do like it here. Most of the people I have spoken with seem very nice and friendly. True, I haven't met a lot of people, but the ones I have are quite nice. It's nothing like the orphanage was.
It's just hard being so shy sometimes. I've tried and tried to get better with it, but I always seem to fall back into it.

And the orphanage never had someone like Doug, either.
